I bought this item from Amazon for someone and so far so good there has not been any problems with it and I believe its meeting up to its demand

Beware! If you pruchase this card you will have to use the Studio software to access it. No other programs will even see the card. pinnacle support simple says, “That is why its bundled with their software”. DO NOT BUY this card. Its a total waste to $80

Support, in terms of drivers and knowledgebase entries for this particular product, appears to be hard to locate on the Pinnacle site. It seems to be a UK product repackaged for the US. I used it on the same machine as a Dazzle USB device, also from Pinnacle – the Dazzle was stable and performed well, but the MovieBoard had regular slowdowns, freezes, and crashes (causing Win XP to reboot).

The installation process was smooth and the quality was ok. The reason for only giving the product 3 stars was the fact that the sound does not sync with the video. I have not solved the problem yet, so at the moment after capturing video I need to correct the syncronization in another another program.
